baby rail for side dinette

The wife & I are looking for a way to add a bed rail to the side dinette of our Scamp when the table is converted to the bed. Not seeing any mods out there for side dinette. Any ideas? We need to keep our 7 month old contained.

How about something like this?

Might require a little modification to make a secure attachment under the thin cushions of the side dinette, but I know others have made similar products work on the front bunks.

Knowing my wife, though, our solution would have been simpler. I take the side bunk, and the baby sleeps behind my wife on the big bed. Wish we had started at that age!

Send a sketch. I've made a few L-shaped holdbacks that tuck under the cushions with a vertical wall to keep infants from rolling off the edge.

Not sure of the dimensions, but we used to use an adjustable shower curtain rod from IKEA. It is springy so you can adjust the width, and also easily remove it.

Attached a few photos. Obviously need to avoid anything being drilled into the table top. Let me know what you think.
