Well isn't that just fabulous
I never in a million years would have come up with that color scheme, but seeing it, I love it!
The only thing I see that I would want a little bit different (and not saying you would) is the wheels. They strike me as a little bit dark and "my hubcaps fell off-ish" and for some reason I would like to see a little big of bling there. I don't mean that to sound critical though; I just thought you would be interested in people's reactions. Overall.....!
(Say, how did the front/rear window gasket ordering and install go? Sure got done quickly from when you were asking about it.)

Thanks Reitha and Raya---
I'm really happy with how it turned out! Color combo came from wanting something that would look smashing with the black truck, but still embraced the "coffee house" theme, which is (in part) browns---thus the gold. Black stripe ties it in with truck and the other stripe (which is actually a very deep, rich rust color) is a basic at coffee houses and one of my favorites.
The funny part of the story is that the color scheme came together when I was sipping on my coke from Burger King! I looked at the cup and said "there are the colors I'm looking for!" I literally took the cup into Gateway Collision Auto Services and showed Ben.
I really like the sky light---gives a feeling of "spaciousness" (at least when you stand under it!) and I'll love looking up at the stars!
Raya---I'm thinking of getting Baby Moons for the wheels---will that work???
As far as the case of the hard-to-find window gasket---last week Ben called asking me if I would order the gasket, as he wasn't having any luck finding it. My hubby's dad had just died and we were on our way out of town, so when I got back I posted my question to you guys and e-mailed the info to Ben. I guess he had found some gasket while I was gone, because the next day he called to say it was all done except for the skylight and a bath. Hurray!
So now Bean is happy and cozy in the storage garage, with the wind blowing in 30 degree temps and drizzle outside. Snow forcast for tomorrow.

I have a skylight in my Boler but it is just ahead of the bed - more in line with the sink. I've thought about moving it, or adding one, just for that reason - on boats you can often sleep right under the hatch and it is great to look out at the stars.

I think I could approve that I just looked at the wheels and wanted to see some shiny Baby moons would be simple enough to not distract from the coolness that is your paint job - something more complicated might compete. Maybe even the "half moons" or whatever they call the ones that are about half the diameter?

Being from up north, I feel your pain (btw, my Mom was originally a Cornhusker and grew up in Omaha -- pre air-conditioning!).

Gorgeous, fabulous looking trailer; one of the best looking on the board now IMO.
Vickie, I love what you did with the wheels. Though in the pictures one looks like it has chrome wheel nuts and bearing cover and the other side does not. Or is it just the photo? Anyway I would just add the same chrome touches to the other one if not already.
I don't know how you would attach baby moons to those wheels in any case. And does your truck have baby moons? If so it might be worth changing them. If not ... Just my 2c.
BTW, where did you get the chrome bearing cover(s) from?

I have been drooling since I saw the first pictures yesterday. Luv, luv, luv it! And, I like the wheels too. Do they match the color scheme on the tug? That's another way to have matching tug/tow.

Thank you everybody! I can't wait to get to the inside-----but that's going have to be done be me---so hoping I can do it justice.
I should have listened to Clive (and my husband)----don't think the Baby Moons (which arrived in the mail yesterday) will attach on my particular rims. Dern it! Back to the drawing board.

I've got similar rims and wondered if one could use springs of some sort to go through the holes and hold the baby moons in place. Or somehow modify the bolt covers to hold a baby moon.

Hey Vicki;
I got to thinking, those wheels would look great with some chrome trim rings. I know you have the rim painted a red and you might not want to lose that; if the trim rings were small enough you could still see a band of red inside the chrome!
Just another idea for you!
