Bed mod

For years, the bed has slide forward during travel without anything to hold it in place in the back. This means scratches on the fiberglass and total re-org when I get to camp. Finally, I came up with a way to secure it to the back wall. (the older Bolers did not use the current table clip/bracket system in the newer models.)

I hope you can see from the picture that I removed the metal bracket attached below the window to the fiberglass benches. I used a short rivet to drill each end in the fiberglass without having to go through the back wall. Seems pretty secure. If the rivet breaks, I'll replace with a screw.

The table is lifted slightly and clipped into the bracket that matches with the original one on the table.

I looking forward to a camping trip next week when I don't have to re-do the bed set up.

Jamie

good idea. I have also found on mine when the table is down and cushions are on for the bed the cushions slide nearly off the table. Easy fix, a couple of thin Yoga mats under the cushions

$2-$3 worth of non-slip cupboard shelf liner from the Dollar Store prevents cushions from sliding around
