More Boler pictures

I hope that was not too many pics for one message. Here are some more that I hope will give others ideas. Most of my upgrades were done with the help of this forum.

The shelves over the rear side windows will have the curtain rods suspended by the in addition to a 12" 12VDC flourescent light on each side. I removed all of the old rusted curtain rod holders and epoxied all of the holes shut. They all leaked. if you look closely at the photos you will see some self adhesive large cup holders jammed up under the front and rear upper shelves. Those hold the front and rear curtain rods in place. This is a work in progress. Enjoy!

the mods look great. thanks for sharing the pictures.

two pictures per post works the best when you can, but these seem to load okay for my slow dial up.

You've been busy! Great ideas.

Am I dreaming or is that one table top that can be used in various locations?

Looks like you were able to come up with a way to use the same table top for several applications, thereby elimating more stuff to stow. Even as a burner cover for more useable counter space. Good planning!

Screen doors. All of you ingenious people are going to make me get off high center and make one, aren't you! ;)

Suz,
The table top that you see inside is 16 x 30 with two 45* cuts at one end. This table is used for an extended/over stove counter top or an interior dining table. The 6 " that I cut off of this table top is used as a support for stowing the top over the stove. The table top that is shown attached to the outside is 16 x 36. I made this table top for use outside and when stowed for travel it keeps stuff from sliding forward from under the rear bed. There are little rubber bumpers on the floor side of the piece so that the edge will not be damaged in travel. Both tables have the same attachment extrusions so they may be interchanged anyhere in the Boler if necessary. Extrusion is same as original Boler one at the rear bed area and I purchased it at my local RV dealer. The tops were made from prefinished 3/4 x 16 x 36" shelves and I used the iron on edge strip, all sold at home depot. I think each shelf was $6.00. A lot of thought went into these two additions. The screen door is made from a straight piece of 1/2" plywood with cutouts and hung on three 4" pieces of aluminum piano hinge. I riveted a 3/4 x 3/4 angle up the side of the closet for the door to stop on. This basic design is merely a copy of one that is posted somewhere here. The door took me a few days to get set. Recently while camping we had some real hot humid weather and the screen door was a life saver and allowed us perfect ventilation throughout the night. I was glad I took the time to install the door. The screen door lock was more of a challenge but it was worth it. I love my egg.
