Thought I would try and post a pic of the
Boler redo.
We have done all the exterior work, filling rivet holes, sanding. fiberglassing etc. and the trailer is ready for
painting. We were unable to
paint the trailer last
fall so it will be finished except for the
paint job, which will happen later this spring.
We stripped all the ensolite off the interior walls and ground off all the remaining ensolite We used closed cell Landau foam from George N Jackson and their Jackson Auto Trim Glue S8585. We sprayed the glue on but found it also worked to use a brush. We were happy with the product but BEWARE - the foam has a silicone layer on both sides and the glue does not stick to the foam which we discovered after we found it was not sticking to the
fiberglass walls. The foam
must be scuffed before applying the glue.
We initially bought reflectix from Home Depot but returned it when we found the foam. The price was the same within $100.
We started yesterday gluing Jackson hull liner over the foam using 3M Spray Super 77. We are half done and it is not a job for the faint of heart. It seems to be sticking really well.
We are welding aluminium frames for the cupboards, walls etc.
This post was a bit of a test to see if I could upload a pic hopefully it worked. I have many pics of the redo will post more as we go.
