casita 17 - to make dinette into permanent bed???

i cant seem to search only this forum yet...so thought i would ask outright

i am very short of money and need to do many impt towing things but i really should do something about the bed-i'm in it a lot and it is creaking! me and the 9 lb shih tzu.

could i just get some 3/4 inch plywood or particle board and cut 2 pieces about 26"x38" and lay them on the seats and under the mattresses? i have the cushions with a 4" topper that is very comfortable

the whole bed is roughly 53"x77"

but the corners are not square-there are some nooks and crannies. but it doesnt really have to fit the space tight to be strong, right?

i'm not positive i can get them in the door yet...but something simple along those lines?

i'm going to try to search cuz i am sure this has been done many times before...but if you know please chime in. thx
