Chalet Screen Door

After a number of attempts we have come up with a design for a screen door for the Chalet RV. We call it the "Half Screen" and it is very simple but effective. If there is interest I can post a picture or so. thanks..

Can you explain more about it? I don't really get a sense of the design yet.

As you can all tell the Chalet is NOT a molded fiberglass trailer. The attachments needed MAY not be the same to affix this screen to the doorway of a molded trailer.

Just a reminder.

I'm not sure what is being shown - is this a screen cut to fit and then held in place around the edges with something? (I'm having a head scratch moment here,,,,,)
How do you go in and out of the door?

You are correct on the first part. It opens an a "hinge" that has no metal connections. On the newer revision it has a little pull on the left side. If you are interested I can email you some more pictures.

Why not post them here for all to see? But, you need to realize you've posted in a forum "All About Our Unique Little Molded Fiberglass Trailers" which the Chalet is not even close. So, if you get members scratching their heads about this, you now know why.

For some reason when I was directed to this forum it was a link from a Chalet group. Guess I should of checked a little more closely. I am actually thinking about selling them so I better not get too detailed. I'm sure it is not allowed here anyway. Thanks for the interest though.

Certainly wasn't try to run you off. Lots of good people here. I just didn't want you to get upset if you received a couple of hundred "views" and no one commented on how neat it would be to have one.... and who knows, maybe what you've done would work in an egg shaped trailer...
