Changing Refrigerator Doors - Need Help

I'm swiping a concept from Jon Vermilye - going to use a laminated photo to dress up the fridge doors. The only catch is which photo to use? I've just published a blog post with a number of pictures cropped to the correct ratio for the doors and now I'm looking to crowd source the selection of photo. Please go to the blog post, review the photos and vote (either here or on the blog) for the one that you think would do the best job bringing the outdoors in.

Actually, when combined with responses on the blog and Facebook, it looks like 9 (which BJ likes) and 15 (which I like) are leading the pack.

I wonder if you could do it in something like what is used in a vehicle wrap and get the bar between upper and lower doors minimized.

I like 15. As to where that can be made - Not sure where John went, but I had mine made at PosterBrain. They charge by the square inch, and will do glossy or matt laminations. My 35.5" X 20" with matt lamination was $29.00 plus $6.00 shipping.

I went to Posterbrain as well thanks to Jon's research. Mine are 46.6 x 20 and two of them cost me $70 including shipping w the matt laminate. Apparently the shipping is per order rather than per print since they just charged me $6 total for shipping.

Ok so I messed up or the numbers change I thought the waterfall was 14 apparently not should have been 15. Still like 17 though!

Jon, did you remove the original fridge door panel and put the poster under plexiglass? We met a nice couple from KY at the LBL Rally named Danny and Tammie who did that, and it looked great.

There aren't many places to hang a picture in a Scamp 13, so that fridge panel is some "prime" real estate. There was someone else who put a Boundary Waters map on their reefer door, and posted it a couple years ago. That looked great too. Sorry, I can't remember who.

The door panel for my 5 cu ft refrigerator is a piece of 1/8" oak finished plywood. No plexiglass. I slid the photo into the slot the plywood sits in; there was enough room to slide it in on top of the plywood. Because it is a bit loose, and has slipped out of the frame, this winter I plan to remove the plywood & use spray dry mounting adhesive to attach the photo.

Sure looks nice, Jon. Thanks for the clarification. I'm guessing that the "laminated" version doesn't require the extra layer of protection provided by the plexiglass.

Thanks for the information. My door panels match my cabinets. Not sure if I want to change. But I might. I don't use the dinette much. I'm thinking about taking it out and putting in a smaller table and two office chairs . At that point I could appreciate some art work.
