It's called Redmax pro and we got it at Lowes for about $15 for a gallon.

A gallon would probably be enough to last for a century or so.

This stuff is nothing like a wax. You don't wipe it off. I used a micro-fiber towel, wetted then thoroughly wrung out.

Apply to the applicator, evenly wipe the stuff on the trailer and let it dry (drying time is very short). Reapply until you reach the desired gloss and coverage.

Mark, when you say wet and wrung out, do you mean wet with water or wet with the redmax?

With water…… Then I wring out all the water that I can (This was only done once at the beginning, it softness the towel), apply RedMax Pro to the towel and spread over the trailer.

I found that this gives the best results (for me anyway).

DO NOT apply RedMax Pro directly to the trailed then attempt to spread (I did this in one small section). The result being….. Clear runs. This was a bit of a pain to correct.

I transferred the RedMax to a standard dish soap bottle and squirted some on the towel as needed (more convenient than dealing with a gallon bottle).

For a update on mine, they still look as good as they did on the first day I got done with them..One good note I went on a fishing/camping trip had to go down a muddy road and got mud all over the camper and it dried on hard, when I got home I sprayed it down with a hose to get most of the mud off then was going to carry it to a car wash...But after spraying it with the hose everything came right off like it was covered in teflon or something, nothing seams to stick to it very well even bird dropping come right off with no scrubbing what so ever..I now have 4 Trilliums (3) 4500 and (1)1300 3 of them has the Floor Finish on them and 1 has the poliglow the one with the floor finish shines the best by far...............

I am intrigued and debating whether to do the poliglow or redmax. The question is seeing as my trailer is yellow will yellowing really matter? lol

I wouldn't think there would be a yellowing problem, the one that I done back in early spring has set in the hot sun here in Alabama all summer long and in the past month we have had several days with it over a 100 and it sets out there on a concrete slab so I know it has to be even hotter there... The last camper I done was 3 weeks ago and setting beside the other one I can't see any yellowing at all...Hope this helps.....RANDY

Will this help bug stuff and tree sap come off easier? Our 5th wheel is extra high because of the Tundra so cleaning the top often is a problem for the one cleaning it.

Question: I just went to Lowe's and found two Red Max floor finish products. One is what I'll call regular and the other is stain resistant. The text on the regular says it will provide a high gloss finish. The text on the stain resistant just says it will enhance the gloss of the flooring while protecting it from stains.

I'm guessing the regular product is the one everyone one is using.

Is that correct?

You need the one with item number 216595 on the upper right of the front label.

Click on the pic of the bottle in the first post, that is the one you want.

I read this post and followed your lead, I am extremely impressed with the quality, look and duribility of Red Max Pro. FYI, it doesn't come off with either mineral spirits or 90% isopropyl alcohol, I need to touch up a few drip areas and I think I may have to buy the Red Max floor stipper to get it off and touch up the areas.

Letting it run can be a huge pain. I leveled my runs with light sand paper on a sanding block then recoated the area.

If you try out the stripper please post your results. Ammonia was mentioned for removal but I have not tested it.

I bought the stuff but have not applied it yet. Any tips for cleaning and application? I was thinking about one using one of those narrow 6" rollers, but not sure if a rag or foam tip would work. Sometimes they want to skid rather than roll.

Does it go on like paint? Does it have any gap filling quality? I am kind of wondering if I should try and scrape the dirt/discoloration out of some of the spider cracks.

Regards,

Matt

It is much thinner than paint, more like water, I wouldn't use a paint roller. Use a sponge or lint free rag.
