Convert side dinette to swivel chairs.

Never liked the seating on my side dinette, very uncomfortable.

Looks very nice and well-integrated. Does the velcro mean you can remove the seats easily to make an extra bunk? If so, it looks like you have the advantage of the Freedom layout without any of its disadvantages. This one goes in my "Ideas" folder. Thanks for sharing, Kevin!

Yes
I can remove the seats easily to make an extra bunk and to get to lower storage compartment on the right side.
This should be an option on all trailers with a side dinette.

I have two of the Casita swivel chairs that I bought to install in our Uhaul. Only was able to fit one in. Now that we also own a Casita LD with the side dinette I was wondering if those chairs would fit using that mounting method. I thought that the Casitas that came with the swivel chairs had a smaller table.

I really like that. I have been considering taking the uncomfortable jack knife sofa out of our LIL Snoozy and putting in a dinette with swivel chairs. This looks like a good way to do it. I would have to reconfigure the water tank and build boxes.

Great job. I'm sure the comfort and the back support is greatly improved.

Here are a few pictures of my sofa to side dinette conversion in our LIL Snoozy. I have the plumbing finished. I removed the 36 gal. Fresh water tank and replaced it with a 10. I managed to mount the tank, pump and related plumbing to fit inside one of the soon to be seat boxes. I will use the other for storage. I have already started on the woodworking.Click image for larger version

Do you have to have swivel chairs to make this work or does the Lazy Susan make any chair swivel??
