I like the paper towel holder. It blends right in. What was it originally? For Ice Blocks?

Thanks Roy. Yep, from the old days when everyone had "ice boxes" instead of fridges. So there are a lot of them around. But they're mostly pretty large. This one is smaller and fits the space well.

Is there such a thing as "Navy Bistro?"

We were out messun round down Route 66 today.
Stopped at a truck stop and found some of the souvenirs I've
been wanting, but they were twice the price I have been paying,
so will wait until I find "my" prices.

I've been searching for mud flaps and the kind I want are impossible
to find. One stop was Osechelin (sp) farm supply and I found just the
right "type" so I can customize them to make them my own.

And at the last WalMart we stopped at I found the battery tester (plug-in style)
I've been looking for. Don't know why they had them and no one else did, but they
were also on clearance. Mud flaps were also on clearance. That's how I shop.

Yes, I am a big ol' TIGHT WAD! [unless you want the shirt off my back]
Then I'm EASY.

Saw many western and cowboy things and thought of this thread.
And saw a few things I could possibly use as a theme, but wife nixed 'em.

Hi Carl,
Huh? ...a "Navy Bistro"? Are you joking?
I, too, love to find just the right accessory for my trailer. I keep in mind my theme(s) while scouring the thrift stores and often find just what I need. Take a look at my Southwest theme photos. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya!

The reason I asked, was I found some coffee theme place mats
which seems fairly kewl. Then went to the fabric department and
looked to see if there were any coffee theme bolts. I found some.
Then I found one that was a kind of military theme saying there was
a revolution "brewing" and was mixed with coffee cups.

My mind only sees a space ship when I look at the Snoozy........LOL.
And it's really hard for me to exercise any imagination with it.

Well, I picked up some "cup" accessories.
I asked the fabric lady about the revolution brewing
material as I couldn't find it. She guessed they sold it.
But I'm thinking I saw it in a different store? It was a
short bolt so could have easily been sold out. But now
I've got my pinkies wet and can now assume I'm motivated
to carry on.

I kept waiting for the wife to object so I could say, "Well,
Vickie said I could!" But she never said a word..........lol.
So hubby is assuming it's okay. Pics later as I begin.

My first pic: (Some of the items I will have to make hangers, etc. for)
Curtains I will have to make.

Soloing I can use my very old cup from the Navy [1970]. Aircraft Carrier
USS America (CVA-66) It's now sunk off the East Coast for fishies and divers.

A setup for "two."

This is how I'm blocking the windows.
I velcro-ed in the four corners so it won't blow away when using the screen door.
Daughter likes the butterflies, so.. . . . . . The other windows are blocked the same.
And yes, these are auto shades. LOL

I like where you're going Carl. I like the bistro theme you've got going. It would be cool to see more of the Navy/Military theme though. There's got to be a lot out there. I found this site with coasters, flags, patches, etc. Official Navy Gifts & Accessories- Buy Licensed U.S. Navy Gifts and Accessories OnlineLooking forward to seeing what you do with your Snoozy.
