Custom mattresses

Not sure if this is the rights place to post this. Feel free to move it if required. I recently had a new mattress made specifically for my Boler. Square on one side and rounded to match the back wall of the trailer on the other. It's made out of some nice high density foam and is really quite comfortable. The fella that made is a friend of my wife's and owns a small mattress manufacturing company in Toronto. I brought him a template of what I wanted and he had it ready in a week. A few folks enquired if he'd be willing to do another. I saw him recently and he said he would take on some custom work if asked.

Good idea. I use a mattress I had made for a 3/4 bed I owned, and it works perfectly in my Campster (sideways, 2/3 of the whole bed area.) It is extremely comfortable.

Martin, this is great info for folks looking for a more comfortable permanent bed. I know plenty of Casita owners purchase from Southern Mattress, because they have the Casita mattress template. I'll add this thread to my archive

Rocky Mountain Mattress is another company that makes custom mattresses. Oliver deals with them if you want an upgraded mattress in your Oliver. They are extremely comfortable.

Speaking of comfortable, we have a Casita with the standard cushions. We added a 2" foam topper that we got at mall wort. I can't imagine a more comfortable sleeping place!!!!

Lfoxmont. My wife looked after the details, the mattress guy is a friend of hers. I think it was $400 which I thought was ok for a custom piece.
