Custom Spare Tire Cover

I looked everywhere for an interesting tire cover for the spare. It is bolted in a very visible spot so I wanted something cute. No luck. My choices were black or white and they all seemed too big anyway. Sooooo, I decided to make my own. I found bright orange marine vinyl from a local fabric store. Armed with a pen, ruler, and a string, I cut out a circle for the tire front. I embroidered the largest alligator and as an after thought I added our names. I would have preferred it without the names but I figured they act as a theft deterrent.

Guess I can always unhook the camper and manually spin it around so the cover can be seen from the campground! Lol Click image for larger version

Very cool. Nice job; and my favorite color too.

Thanks! We've camped quite a bit in our " Swamp Baby" , now it's time to tackle our " to-do" list. Lol

Installing a porch light in the heater vent and getting some shelves next.

Nice work Brandi!
Did you use elastic or string to keep it snug?

I used parachute cord with a cord lock on the end. I then tied the extra tail around the bracket just in case.
