A link to Ann's new website for stainglass windows.

Incredible art for a very resonable price.

I dislike it when a web page doesn't give you a price.

it turns me off.

I can see why Ann doesn't put prices up. As a stain glass hobbyist, I can tell you the price of the window would be predicate on the glass used and the design. These are each custom made and I doubt there are no two alike.

For instance, I purchased one 12"x12" piece of blood glass. It cost me $57. Another piece of just red cathedral glass is less than $10. Obviously a window made with blood glass would be about [b]five times higher in price than cathedral. It depends on the "want" of the customer.

Hi Bill,

Don't be put off because the lack of a price. Each window is custom made to your order. Shipping also will be different depending on your location. Rember you are not buying off the shelf.

Hope this helps

I guess I misread the web page, I thought simple windows meant in stock.

As my granddaughter says " My Bad "

Hi All,

Ann here.

And thank you Donna for the explanation.

And thank you Bill for the question and concern.

When we put together the web site, I had planned to have some simple windows designed and ready made to sell. An example of a simple window would be a diamond shaped bevel centered in the window using H-came, an inexpensive but beautiful textured clear glass with a more expensive colored cathedral glass to complement the design. I will post a sample on the web site today. And yes, the red cathedral glass is expensive. I took a deep breath before purchasing it, but decided it was worth it because I could make about five windows with it if I used it sparingly as a complement piece.

Christines Scamp window of the ocean is another, more or less simple design. I really have not had time to put up more simple designs of the web site because I have been working part time as a bookkeeper while keeping up with the design and construction of more complex windows. I now have two months off until tax season. Bill and I can concentrate on making windows. Yea!

Another factor in price, is the design of the window. Some of the designs I have put together are quite complicated. This is evident when viewing the windows. I often try to balance the windows using a more complicated design in one section and then finishing it out using textured glass. My frog window is an example.

The web site is a work in process. Any suggestions, concerns or compliments are welcome. I enjoy working with the fiberglass groups as much as we enjoy camping in our "Little House". We have learned so much from the sites!

Very nice Ann. I think you'll do really well with this...
We have the Louvers as our Scamp is an 81, but it would be cool if you have one that would work with the oval window over the kitchen??

Bill - if I can add my nickel's worth (used to be two cents.... but inflation and all.... hahahaha)

Ann did a BEAUTIFUL window as a birthday gift for my wife.
She is WONDERFUL to work with and very patient too. She took a less than wonderful "sketch" by someone (me) who can't draw a good stick man and turned it into a true work of art.

She is more than reasonable, especially considering that each piece is hand designed and crafted.

Ann - if you read this, we will be in Bandon this coming summer!!
