The Trilliums come equipped with a 12A breaker. Why not 15A? So this is not a down grade at all. But I agree that using 15A hardware is easier to find, and work with. It is enough for a small AC, or a 1500W heater. You might have to manage your appliance use, but hey we're camping.

I hope to be able to have a trailer that produces enough solar power to go off grid. I will probably end up with 300 to 400W of solar production. This would include refrigeration.

From this perspective,1800W seems like tons of power.
