Dirty Shoes

Often our shoes are muddy/sandy from hiking. Decided to make a shoe box to use with our door under the bed in our Escape 21. Box and sled it slides in are all ABS plastic; box has removable dividers. Idea was to be able to slide it out to put shoes in it before we enter the trailer, and be able to hose it out at the end of our trip. Kind of a square bucket with partitions.

Interesting. But then I would not get to hunt my shoes after the dog moved them getting comfortable on the floor during the night.

That looks like a great idea. I'll have to show my resident handyman. If I smile at him maybe he will be able to do something similar in our old Trillium. Boots and shoes can be a bit of a problem for us - I keep mine in the bottom of the closet - hubby 'just takes them off and leaves them wherever'! The floor gets pretty dirty which doesn't bother us very much - it sweeps easily. Mud is a pain in the patootie though.

You don't need to hunt for anything! Ask Charlie for the parts needed ... he owns Widget Works (link at the bottom of his first post) & builds very cool custom widgets for fiberglass trailers!

I'm with Carol. You can build something out of scrap wood or purchase something off the shelf... that kinda fits. But you want something as cool as the pictures from the first post that absolutely works for your brand ... talk to Charlie!
