Door handle for surfside

Looking to replace my door handle in my 75 Surfside tm14. Currently I can't lock it from the inside. Any ideas where I can find a replacement?

Hi: sherad... The only fix for the Bargman L400 is to find a locksmith that can fabricate a new slide part, for the interior lock, that stuck out of the vertical slot in the plate. Too bad the doors were shaped around those lock sets as they are not avail. except sometimes on Ebay...for megga money!!!

Thanks for the reply not quite the answer I was hoping for but gives me a place to start. Was there lots of lock smiths that won't/can't do it?

Hi: sherad... It's time consuming as well as money consuming to rebuild the L400!!! A lot of locksmiths just want the easy dough. Out with the old... in with the new and to heck with the gaping hole in the door. SSSorry I don't have better news.

A lot of us seem to have this lock.

Is there one that works well as a change up ( ie bigger hole) or a reccomendation for a new one

There doesn't seem to be anyone that makes a modern lock that fits the L-400 cut out.

Tri-Mark makes a few different locks but they make a direct replacement lock for the
L-300, its a shame they don't do the same for the L-400, they could sell a lot of them if they did.

Safe to say that if Tri-Mark or another company was to make a replacment almost everyone would be replacing their l-400......please Tri-Mark build one.
