Here is a picture of the interior of our brand new Casita. We've had her a week today! I'm pleased with how the interior turned out and wanted to share it with you guys. It all came from JCPenney except the cushion covers which is fabric from JoAnn's and made this week by an upholstery shop I found in Fort Worth that is quick and cheap! Woo hoo!

I know, I know the monogrammed sheet with Dumplin's name on it is really over-the-top but JCP offered it for $5 bucks more when I ordered the sheets, so I took it.

Our heads are still spinning just a tad with all we have to learn about our new trailer since we've only tent camped in the past. We are very excited about our Christmas present to ourselves and look forward to many years of "getting out there."

Happy Holidays Ya'll,

Patty & Fred

Don't that look comfy!

Now find a rainy place, make some popcorn and relax on that fluffy bed and watch movies!

That is so cute!! Isn't it fun to decorate something so small? It seems so do-able!!
Pictures coming of Burro after New Years - the Bolanger Burro - not French -long "o",long "a", strong "g". -Bo-lang-er Burro - We're from southern Missouri!!
Ours was in great shape when we got it, so it's just spiffin' up. You inspire me to greater slipcovering. Christi

I like your style! As someone who appreciates nice sheets wherever I sleep, I think the monogram is the perfect touch!

Very nice! What a great Christmas gift! I have a question for you, does the shelf supporting the "tv" screen fold down, or is it permanently in the up position? Congrats on your new camper!! You will love it, each and every time you get to use it!

Wink

Thanks for the compliments, April, but that was 2 years ago! I re-decorated Dumplin' this past fall (2008) and want to post new pics but they are too large to post. I'll try to resize them and try again soon.

I sewed every stitch and even made a duvet (won't be doing that again, let me tell ya). It was a ton of work but I love the result. The only thing I didn't do was recover the cushions on the banquette, I had that done a couple of weeks after we picked up Dumplin' in 2006. I didn't have the cushions in the dinette area recovered because it stays permanently in the bed position and you don't see them.

I've got a 13' Casita on order and I'm still trying to determine how I want to decorate that one when I get it in February. I ordered without decals and want to do something on the outside too, but not sure what.

I'll try to get those interior pics posted soon.

April, the TV is on a shelf that has brackets attached to the walls. You can take the shelf on and off via the brackets.

I am trying to load new pics of the interior. Here goes.
