Great Job! I love this idea, maybe not a new idea but executed extremely well, practicle and by gosh, looks so stylish! Thank you for sharing. You must have removed the floor mount for the table, which is always in the way.

Cool mod. I like the latch to keep them closed and it matches the other cabinet work. Nice work.

Ron,

With the locks and roller tracks, I'm hoping it will work when the camper is being bounced around when traveling. The top and front are now fixed in place (2 part epoxy.

I'm curious as to how will you gain access to the under bed storage in rear and curbside?

Art,
I like your tracks. I just pulled the carpeting out of our EggCamper and laid down Alure vinyl floating flooring. Then I noticed that the new flooring lowers the drawers such that the latches don't catch. I was going to move the rollers to raise the drawers, but now I'm thinking that your tracks would serve the same purpose.

Jim/Art, I added an access hatch to the curb side. It is very handy and makes it easy to reach items stored under the curb side of the bed.

Diane, It Art's camper is like mine, the bed is permanent and the table is at the side dinette.

Jim,

Access will be easier because I can pull the drawers out and reach right in instead of reaching an extra 20" (with the fiberglass door which lifted up). Even though the framing is fixed in place, I will still have enough room to pull out the water heater if necessary (the largest thing under the bed).

Ron,

The tracks are screwed to the floor (4 screws each) to keep them from moving. If the tracks aren't fixed I don't think it will work. I like the idea of the outside access, but I don't want any more holes in the outside than are necessary. The only things we store in the side are life preservers, fishing poles (never used), and other odds and ends not used very often.
