Enhanced 1981 Bigfoot

At long last, our 17.5' Bigfoot is sporting it's new look!

This is what we did:
Exterior - Decals removed and replaced, scuba flag hub caps, painted step, fenders and window frame.

Interior - Removed wallpaper and replaced water-damaged wall panels, reupholstered cushions, made new curtains, installed cellular shade, painted everything, new floor, installed kitchen gel wall tile backsplash, refinished fridge.

We're very happy with how it turned out and we can't wait to get out and enjoy it!

Behold, the Octopod!!!

Wow!
What a difference. Great job!!!
I used to own one of those. About that year too. That's one thing I wish I would have kept. I didn't have it for long, but it's one of the few things I've sold for more than I paid.

Excellent work. So explain Octopod? Does it have a hidden meaning other then you really like the 8 limbed sea creatures? Love the hub caps.

EddyEd: We upgraded from a tent to the trailer when we started combining our two favourite activities: Scuba Diving and Camping. We thought of other names, but "The Octopod" stuck.

Mszapo: For the fridge, we used a stainless steel finish adhesive paper from Home Depot called "Con-Tact Creative Covering". It comes in a roll for about $10.

Thanks for the comments

Painting the wood really gave it an updated look. Sure brightened everything up and love the blue
