Entry door holder

I'm wondering how Trillium Jubilee and other 'square' fiberglass owners keep their exterior doors open. I'm really put off to drilling holes and adding a holder but it seems the only avenue left. Any ideas? I know most other style of fg doors are curved and open 180 degrees, but mine has a door jamb style that limits the opening to 90. I'm thinking of an eyehook in the lower corner of the door and a chain/tentpeg to hold it open, plus a rubber bumper to keep it from slamming against the corner of the trailer. Its a poor trailer door design but one I have to adapt to. Pics would be a great help. Thanx in advance.

You might be able to use one of the stronger suction cup hooks on the trailer body as a chain attachment where you couldn't use a tent peg. I have a couple of these Ikea hooks and they're quite strong. (They use a screw to tighten.) STUGVIK Hook with suction cup - IKEA

Try a bungee cord and a large sponge. I have the bungee wrapped around the sponge. One end of the cord fastened on the door handle and the other attached to a spot on the bottom leg of the awning that will hold the hook.

Barb's idea of using a sponge is great!

Being cheap...I have a small rope/line with a loop on each end. One loop I attach around the front frame, and the second loop I hook around the inside door handle when I want the door to stay open.

i added this door holder to eliminate the use of a bungee cord. It can be picked up from most trailer outlets.

Yep. I purchased one of those, then on second thought decided I didn't want anymore holes in the shell of my trailer. The fewer the better in regards to potential leaks down the road. I'll stick with my bungee, but thanks.

How about a couple of those rare earth magnets on decent double sided tape?
