Exterior color scheme too tacky?

On my Compact Jr., would dark red (not maroon) on the bottom and yellow (as it originally was) remind too many people of McDonalds? The only other color in the scheme could be black. The photo below isn't the right pattern, but about the right colors.

How fun...a Piet Mondrian FRGV paint scheme on the trailer you posted a photo of.

If you are concerned with how your trailer will look just take a photo, then go to one of the paint company websites and get an app from them. Open a photo of your trailer in the app tand put your choice of colors onto the image. If it reminds you of Macdonalds then use other colors on it until you get to a combination you love.

It would be cooler if the tow unit is the same.

I think you’re onto something, but you might try having one color dominate rather than be equal. Maybe one side mostly red, the other side mostly yellow? There’s just something too regular about the balance. But I like it!

When people see the color choices on your Compact Jr, they may look around for the Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile since it may look like you are hauling the ketchup and mustard!

Hi, Cory,

Looks a little "Mondrian." Famous painter a while back; people were wild for his work.

Do colors express us?

According to some color psychology reports, red represents excitement, energy; yellow is cheerful, optimistic. Sounds like you?
Whatever you decide, you'll turn heads in awe. Ready to add a checkered awning?

You've inspired me to reevaluate my boringly common white FRG. Perhaps to match my sea kayak...yellow over orange or orange over yellow?

Looking forward to seeing you on the road.

I guess it depends if you like talking to strangers all the time, or if you like peace and quiet from time to time.

If it is ever stolen [hush], should make recovery easier.

:if you paint it black and yellow then you will look like a Bumblebee. But it is what ever color the owner wants as it is his/her choice.

At least everyone can see you coming. Maybe keep you from having a wreck. Could give some people a laugh. At least no one else will have one like it.

I have a two tone scheme, red and black. The reason I chose it is obvious. a facelift that took 35 years off its age. Looks like it was recently made to go with the vehicle, similar body shape.

Time Lord Scamp

I was thinking of doing this to mine.... The great advantage is that it would be so much larger on the inside....

Had been thinking of painting Peanut like a basket or carton of eggs, it being more square than many eggs...
