Hello all, I'm fixing up a 13' Scamp and I am considering Plether for the seat cushions. I really like to stay out for a while. I was thinking that keeping the fabric on the cushions would allow dust to collect. Pleather would be easier to keep clean, and with some nice sheets from India, there wouldn't be the sticky problem in the summer, and for winter I have some nice quilts. Has anyone tried Plether?

We like fabric/vinyl combo. If the dogs are wet we just flip the cushions vinyl side out.

We like the fabric cushions and protect them on the road by placing fleece throws over them which also adds a decorative touch. If we need more bedding at night we just pile on the extra fleece throws. The throws can be easily washed when needed.

My cushions are done and I LOVE them...there is no "shocking" at all so no need to get nekked!!! (Bonus!!) They were a little pricey but apparently it's the same material used in McDonald restaurants so should work out fine!! Thanks for all the advice!!

Fabric vs. Vinyl Cushions

Not sure what an endorsement from McDonalds is worth these days- bought a McDouble yesterday in which the only things "double" were the pickles- but I'm lovin' it (your cushions, not the sandwich)!

I like your cushions, quilt and pillows. You are well on your way to "glamping"!
