Fence Post Storage Bumper

Attached is a" how to" Fence Post Storage Bumper.
Several years ago,I saw a pic of this fence post bumper and thought it was a great mod for may Scamp.

I made the mod. However it did not last, poor design. In fact I lost the bumper on I-90 east around Eire PA.

I have redesigned my fence post bumper/ sewer hose storage space with a new and improved update. So if your needed more storage space and don't want the sewer hose to be a problem, this may be the answer.

The first one lasted for some 45,000 miles hope the new will go 100,000 miles. Good Luck

Henry

Well done!

Mine is on the truck, but it holds a QUALITY long hose and keeps the wart off the front of the Scamp. East coast highways are bad, but it took and old farm field to damage my first one.

That is a BEAUTIFUL site, Henry, really well done! We don't need the storage space, but I like the reflective strips and will probably add them to Peanut.

Thanks for showing this to us.

BEST

Bumper Sewer Hose Container

Great photos of the project. I built a similar hose container for my Scamp 13 last summer, but could not figure how to mount it. Tried under the trailer...no space, on front - no space. So am going to use your mounting example on the backside of my old bumper.

Any tips to help keep me from knocking it to pieces while backing up?

Thanks for your work in putting the instructions in a good doc.

Use someone to watch when you back up. You shouldn't be backing into stuff. Or get a back up camera.

Did this to my Escape 5.0TA. Mounted in front of axles as original tube is still there with hose for quick dumps. My setup is for stuff needed when we have full hookup.
