Since purchasing this fan on a trip to Oregon last summer I have been trying to get up the nerve to cut the hole and "Just do it"! Had never cut a hole in the trailer before for anything! Turned out it installed easier than I thought. Used a jig saw with a blade for metal. It does come down about an 1" for the ceiling but so did the light that was there. Used 1 1/16" L shaped wood trim to finish it off. Also used Butly on the roof.

Yes and he was kind enough to share his **great** wisdom in regards to what to use. The gasket that came with the fan or Butyl tape? Butyl tape won.

Carol

Darn he went & put a queen bed in the 19'!! That would be big enough to keep my dog from pushing me off & forcing me to take the tiny upper bunk to get some sleep! Now I am working hard on telling myself I should not even look at the 19' Escape at the meet. Best to pretend there is no such thing! LOL

Hey nice job!!

I like the buttons over the rivets. Never thought of using them.
