Finished painting my 13' Boler
Well today I finally rolled my Boler into the daylight after a few weeks in the shop. We sanded down the entire trailer. Sprayed on some automotive primer and painted it two tune using Duplicolor automotive paint from Canadian Tire. It took all of 2 liters of each colour.
I am happy with the paint but could have spent more time on the body work. Just need to wash the dust off and clean up the interior.

I sprayed it in my shop using a $30 HVLP spray gun from Princess Auto. They are the CDN equivalent to Harbor Freight. The windows were installed by the previous owner. We are just finishing what he started. Thanks for all the comments.

Yes rims are the next quandary. I was just going to clean and paint them. Linda thinks we need a splash of red to tie in to the interior. She initially thought paint the rims red or maybe a little red stripe above the belly band.

What are you carrying in the tongue box? I'm trying to decide what will go on my tongue (well, not really MY tongue. The trailer tongue).

I thought that it looked pretty good when we saw it at the Niagara gathering last fall. Now it's gorgeous! Looking forward to seeing a close-up at this summers Bolerama, "The Trailerhood".

rgrug - My tonque box seems to change all the time. If I am just day tripping which is what I originally bought the trailer for I will put my small cooler in it. Pf course some wooden blocks for the leveling legs and tonque jack. Sometimes the little BBQ. I bought the box at Walmart. It was pretty cheap seems to keep stuff dry and the lid latches snap down nice and tight.
James - We are looking forward to Bolerama. It will be great to see some of the people we met at the Niagara Wine Escape last year and some new egg friends as well.

I was checking out the progress on your rig and it seems to be coming together well. Looks a ton better then when you started. Hopefully when it's done we can check it out in person.

Doug, what wheels are those and are those tires highway rated? They look really low and wide like something you'd find on a golf cart.

Yes they are highway rims. The previous owner put them on because he was looking for a real low profile. They are 20.5x8-10 tires. Also contributing to the low profile is the axle, seems to be worn out and needing replacement. This is evident by the amount of gear that goes flying around inside when I tow it anywhere. Yes next up on the list is a new axle.

Great, I'm glad to hear it. BTW, I love what you've done with the trailer. Have you posted interior pics? I want to see what you've done around the closet area.
