That would add to the work, but you could easily do one in a day, and it would give you an idea of what you are looking at.

I just worry that once started it wouldn't get finished in a day. Steve can sometimes be hesitant and slow when working and it's just a big unknown. I'd rather wait until we have the time to do it without the stress of it having to get done in a day... Unless you are offering Jim!

Everything looks great on your trilly Lyndsay - Did some test painting on my ensolite today and I'm pleasantly surprised at how nicely it stuck so I'm going ahead with that plan. I like your backsplash idea...may steal that myself!! I also am going to replace my T-moulding with white - will look better than the old ripply dark cream that is there now! Has anyone pulled out the shelving over the dinette area and replaced it - would be interested in how that looks!

Worked really well. Needs to be quiet soft though. I made the mistake of boiling it all at once in two pots and then taking them out to the trailer and fiddling around trying to figure out where all the pieces went again. By the time I got to the last few pieces the water was luke warm and the moulding was a bit tricky to work with.

Fixing up the '75 Trillium 1300
Update:
She's done! For now :P
Tires were pulled and bearings re packed. New tires put on the old rims and some new hubcaps ( I know they're not baby moons.)
Rock guard was fixed, new filon (sp?) put in and remounted - new front decal to come.
Curtains mounted inside on all windows.
New cabinet doors all around and new cabinet hardware mounted.
Table leg fixed so that the table is level.
Drivers side upper vent replaced and painted.
Water tank cleaned and re mounted with all new hose clamps.
Awning made and tested
First trip out will be May long weekend for 4 nights. Can't wait!!
P.S new name... "Truly" a Trilly

Looks great. What a lot of work. Where did you get the door latches? Can you post a picture of the rock guard and where you got the material. We are needing to fix ours. thanks

We lucked out with a lot of our materials. A friend had the latches, she had picked them up at a garage sale for 5 cents a piece and didn't need them. The rock guard we got from a wonderful man named David it's just white filon. Sorry I can't help you source the materials!

My awning is made from two heavy duty white tarps. You really only need one tarp. I cut one up to do the scalloped edge on mine. I cut one edge off and folded it over a rope to slide into the awning track. Used tarp tape to tape the edge down and used awning polls found at army and navy (Canadian tire carries them too) and some guy wire. Voila 50.00 dollar awning even if it only lasts one season it's worth it lol.
