Folding dinette table

Having a problem finding threads of fellow members building a folding dinette table. Must be using the wrong keywords.

Is the page on what we did.

Wanting to upgrade my current table. I'm going to make a new top which will split.
Will use a piano type hinge. Also will laminate the bottom front part to match the top. So when I fold it it will still have a finished surface.
I need to come up with the manner I can support the top when fully extended. And support when folded and, still use table to support dinette cushions as a bed. Thank you all for your ideas.
