I want'd to add my own personal touch to a new trailer. Cupboard doors came up high on the list. The first three have now been replaced with "Byron made it" doors.
After the door blanks were glued up, cut to size, edges rounded, and sanded the woodburning pen came out. The first picture is after the woodburning was completed.

Next life was added with a little color. More color to come.

Now to finish up the color, add multiple coats of polyurthane, and a good coat of wax. (Good old Johnson's Floor Wax works good here.)

Now that the doors are all finished all that's left is to remove the old doors, transfer the hardware, and install the new doors. Completed installation is below.

Now I just have to figure out what I want to do with the other doors. One of the overhead end cabinet doors is already cut out waiting for insperation. I'm thinking some sort of relief carving. Hmmm we'll just to wait and see what strikes.

Byron....Those ccabinet doors are REALLY nice..I'm sure they will be the topic of many converations....good job...

I thought of something similar a few months ago, but my idea was to use "Super Heros" from the comic books (no I don't read comic books any more....maybe I should). Shoot some movie theater posters with a digital camera and print the picture, sized to the cabinet door, and then decopage (????) the door with the the picture....I never got around to trying that.

Those look great Byron.

Can I put my order in for a panorama of Timerline Lodge?

Sure, but the lead time is very very long.

Too cool Byron! That's the wonder of these fiberglassRVs, making it uniquely your own. And, I get to see this mod in person in a couple of weeks

Great idea -- great job. Made new doors for the boler, but never thought of adding art. Then again, my art skills are 0 -- would have to find someone, like yourself, with somw talent.

That's amazing. I'm thinking that's one of those things that is even better in person than in pictures. Three art forms: Drawing, woodburning, AND painting. Wow!

Congratulations!
