Hideous. Now I desperately need a replacement window. Any ideas? For now I intend to apply a Presidential Solution with some Lexan.

I've ordered a refurb window, so let's commence the destruction.

I love a deadline! 25 days 'til we kick out the chocks and head for Big Pine Key...

While we wait on the window, making some cabinet space from the (furnace?) space. Click image for larger version

I won't lie - I want to see the furnace install. We don't have one in the Egg and our Thanksgiving trip a couple years ago sealed the deal on getting one. Budget permitting, of course.

Sorry, the furnace was missing when we got the camper, and I don't see a need for one presently. I don 't see us doing any cold-weather boondocking, and a little disc furnace heater will warm that space if we're on the plug somewhere.

I'm one of those people that becomes a human furnace when i get horizontal anyway!

I ordered it from Joe at Trillium RV as you suggested. Not quite sure that it will arrive in time for my vacation, which starts in 9 days. If not, no worries. I'll just pop the old one back in with no butyl tape, maybe some foam weatherstrip? In five years going to Big Pine the same week, we've seen one real rain.

Did Joe have one with an escape hatch?

I honestly don't know. When he said he had one, refurbished, for a reasonable price, I jumped at it. I'll be happy either way so long as the Scalperator is gone.

Oh, sorry. I read your post too fast. I thought were sizing up to install a furnace. Just realized you were making use of the space where the furnace was/might have been.

With no furnace, that is a very useful storage space.
