Garmin GPS

Did all know a free download from Garmin will let you put your own voice into your unit. Neat!!

Hummm, I know I've talked to myself occasionally... I prefer a voice I can yell at when I make a mistake

I have the Garmin 255w and this Garmin voice program works perfect. Now my wife can understand the voice commands in the Garmin because it's her husband talking.

Gawleeee.... what a change that makes in our garman! The old voice sounded an awful lot like our next door neighbour (a school principle) who ALWAYS sounded loud and BOSSY. Fixed all that with this KQQL download. THANKS for finding and posting it.

Any way to get John Wayne's voice onto the GPS? That could be interesting. "Pardner, in 200 yards turn left into the campground... and get all the wagons together in a circle!"

Be careful with that.

I know that if I put my voice on our GPS, my wife would just ignore it altogether. (Selective listening disorder)
