My wife is always appalled that I have the audacity to walk up to someone's door, knock, and ask if they want to get rid of something I spotted on their property. I say I'm an "opportunist", or sometimes an "antiques dealer". Spotted this
Boler in Anchorage and the view from the street looked like picture 1.
As I neared the house I noticed pic #2
A lovely 70 year old lady answered and was amazed I was interested in a broken trailer. I told her I was an enthusiast and that I thought I could fix it. She said it had cracked slightly years ago in the front and her husband had patched it. Then the record snow this year finally caved it in, pic #3.
So it's only been exposed to rain since last winter. Not great, but it's pretty moldy/mildewy.
She proceeded to tell a pretty amazing story of tracking their dream
Boler down in Maple Ridge BC on 9/28/81. But the craziest part is that it was made in 1980, bought in 81, and she knew the exact number of times they had used it....3! The
registration expired in '83 and it sat since, pic #4.
