Our
Uhaul has a large, heavy, and cumbersome table that is support for the rear bed. This table is also too large for even the tiniest person to squeeze by to get into the dinette. First thing I did was to stain a round table blank from Lowes and screw on a bracket. Great! Now we can actually get in to the benches but I was still lugging that massive toe crunching monstrosity! I decided to make boards to bridge the gap. We got some really nice 1x4's and cut them to size. I'm all about simple so I didn't want to be hassling with 8 individual boards. I had some canvas lying around so I made a "bag" for them with individual sleeves. I split them into two groups so that one set of boards will fit under each of the cushions of the dinette. Now we don't have to keep relocating that heavy table around during the day because it was in the way. Picture shows one set of boards lying across the gap
