I figured I would start a thread about my gypsy trailer that I bought. The previous owner was using it as a garden shed. The floor was rotten so he cut and replaced it quite redneckish. Lots to do to fix this one, but I can tailor it to my liking this way.
Haven't started anything yet. It looks like there is an automotive sunroof installed, I have no idea yet if it is factory or not, but once I rip it apart I will be able to find out.
Here are some pics, I intend to drop the floor somewhat so I can gain some headroom. I will update the thread as I go (progress will be slow as I am expecting a little one any day now...
There is a
solar panel mounted on the front, the garden shed needed to have a
light right?
Street side pic, the garden shed used the metal brackets there to hang its ladders. Lots of screw holes to fix.
Homemade stabilizers likely going.
Being the body was cut off, I believe the body is shifted more than the
axle is welded out of place. At least that is what I thought first glance...
Facing the back, some
fiberglass cupboards are still there. Can see the extra shelving the previous owner added. Notice the sunroof.
The lower bed area. Notice the nice paint/flooring. The front bunk area looks quite similar, nothing left. No kitchenette either.
Wish me luck!
