Has anyone tried these new batteries?

I am thinking about putting one in my motorcycle. Saves 10 lbs of weight. I'd think that in a car it might work as well or better.

Haven't tried that one, but have used an Odyssey drycell for a motorcycle. I liked it very much because it was smaller and easier to get into my old BMW bike. Also you can mount them upright,flat, even upside down.

I think the 10 lbs weight savings is over a regular motorcycle battery. I looked the the biggest model they make, 28 a/h and weight was less than 4 lbs. I thank these are only for motorcycles. Their website even says " any other use voids warranty"

These weigh 2.5 lbs, and I am thinking about putting one in my BMW. I have a 1983 R100RT. The wight savings os 11.3 lbs over the stock heavy battery. I typically use a trickle charger non stop when it is parked--without that my batteries would die every winter. I am wondering how this battery would hold up both with and without a trice charger.

I had a BMW R75 1976 that I used the Odyssey in , mainly because it was smaller and I didn't have to take apart the frame to get it in like I did with a stock battery.
