Lightbulb Having fun with a/c installation

Hi everyone,

While vacationing with fellow fiberglass RVers, Chuck and Deb, we put together a little do-it-yourself video on installing an a/c unit in a Scamp.

Red Green! LOL! I'm glad you found a way to incorporate some duct tape!
That's one happy looking dog enjoying the A/C!

Niiiiiice!

I think they needed to duct tape Bud cans on the sticking out legs so someone doesn't take an eye out.

Lizbeth,
We didn't forget about the safety concerns as shown in this picture that didn't make it into the video. We had something better than Bud cans!

( See next post for picture)

After 3 days of 100F+ temps we decided we had had it and need to cool down is the reason for this spur of the moment temporary quick A/C installtion. Our poor chow mix dog ( Shelby) was melting in that heat with all her fur even though we were swimming each day.)

Whatever works! And thank goodness molded fiberglass people aren't so snobby they'd rather swelter in the heat than have a redneck solution.

Go Red Green!
