Heck of a time finding windows and instructions

Hi All,

I've got my nice gutted out scamp. I am very jazzed about making into a gypsy themed trailer but I'm stuck on window replacement. I emailed Scamp parts and they said they don't have replacements for a 1976 Scamp (13ft). I tried one of of those online window quote sites and just one window was nearly $600 dollars. Surely there must be something somebody did among you fine people to offer instructions on how to order and install windows. Worst case I'll just refurbish what I have. I want to get over the body stuff so I can start posting the more artsy stuff. This forum is great!

Thanks guys!

Jay

Perfect. Now I'm inspired to refurbish the original windows.

This helps me go into the refurbishing route

I love this thread on finding window sealant and glazing strip. I would like to refurbish the 1976 windows. Any idea where I might find new aluminum frames for the side widows (the movable parts)? They would be aluminum sashes with hurricane hinges.
