Hmmmmmm! Just when I thought a level headed 3rd party was posting on here to help us Yanks interpret Canadian we get this, err, whatever you call it. LOL!!! I'm thinking a conspiracy with a lot of code. I did see a black helicopter a while back with what I swore was a Maple Leaf hidden amongst the camo.

If you decide to lose the furnace, advertise it here. These cost about $450 to replace, so someone would be glad to have it.

Not a conspiracy, Steve. More like a duck call. Blow in it and comparative linguists come down for a looksee.
Never been, Peter. I have a friend from Birmingham; lives in Doylestown PA.

If you want to see how to patch a hole like that, I described it in detail on another forum. I recommend patching it with fiberglass for sore get weather seal, and then painting a color that is somewhat close. I like the idea of mounting something there like a lamp.

in school I often times had to pull out a dictionary and show my instructors that the word is spelled correctly just a more archaic spelling, but I prefer the way it looks.

The "ou" spelling variants came across the channel with William the Couturier and his sidekick, Poly Glot.

If you start using the word "whilst", I'm gonna worry.

Funny. I started using that word. I picked it up from a gal I dated from the UK. She worked for British Airways, and I could fly free on military hops. The first time I heard it I looked it up and sure enough...it is a word! I generally try to avoid picking up on foreign accents, but that is perhaps the one word I use, with Cheers coming up a distant second.
