High Rise Faucet Replacement
I'm looking for a recommendation for a high rise kitchen faucet for my Bigfoot trailer. I saw a nice looking white unit in a couple of new Escape trailers. Anyone know what it is? Any recommendations?

Can't recommend any particular brand, but I do remember reading that a couple of DIY-ers had used faucets that are made for a bar application. From the big box hardware stores.

Hi: BradBev... Take a google at Phoenix faucets. http://www.faucets.comThey make a complete line of RV plumbing ware. I changed out our low rise for a high rise by just swaping the spigot. Didn't have to touch the taps.

I changed my high-rise bar faucet out because it didn't go far enough into the sink and water kept getting on the counter behind the sink.
The original to me high-rise faucet, if you can see it in this photo.
I replaced it with a more standard kitchen faucet and raised it a little on ABS plastic disks. It reaches way farther into the sink. And I put it back in the original/original faucet location to save room behind the sink. I now have only one water source, so I don't need two handles.

I replaced the existing bar faucet with a laundry tub faucet for the same reason that the bar faucet did not extend far enough forward into the sink. Laundry faucets are also 4-inch center to center which seems to be common in trailers.

Have just replaced our kitchen faucet and took a look at the " drinking water only taps " . They seem to be for cold water line only installation . Am thinking about replacing the standard dorky little tap in a Trillium . Has anyone considered or installed one of those ?

This one from Ikea looks like a good deal:
LAGAN Single lever kitchen faucet - IKEA
This will be the next projet for us too. Tired of the original faucet, much of the water just ends up on the counter!

Better than a "high rise"
After using the factory-supplied kitchen faucet in our Casita (it was awful), we changed it out to one of the popular "high rise" faucets... didn't like that either.
At our local Home Depot we found an American Standard faucet with a compact appearance but with the additional benefit of having a "pull out" spigot. We love it, now we can put water most anywhere we want... from rinsing our hair to filling a bucket! At least to us, it is the perfect RV kitchen faucet.
Here 'tis: Amazon.com: American Standard 7084F Outreach 4-Inch Centerset Faucet, Polished Chrome: Home Improvement
This faucet comes with a 'pop up' drain assembly, which I just tossed... needless complication
Cheers!

Nice looking faucet Robert . I too put in a high-rise faucet with paddle handles.. love it! I'm wondering if those that don't are having a problem with splashing because of the drain being in the wrong place? Looking at Roberts pictures, the drain is in the front. The drain in the sink in my Scamp is at the rear... and the water comes out of the spout straight into the drain. No splashing unless I crank the water on full force. Hummmmm.

Whenever I'm shopping for something, I find it first on Amazon, then copy and paste the description into eBay. Sometimes Amazon is cheaper, but I've found that there is a huge markup on faucets.

flip side is , if you like it, you will only ever have to buy it once. figure the cost per year of usage,,,and its so very cheap to have something you enjoy.

ice chest with drain under a seat would hold one of those small mini kegs, then a tap out the side maybe under the porch light so i wouldn't spill in the dark?
lol no i am just kidding and not seriously thinking about it....i don't think....
however,,,a jameson cabinet...now we are talking.
