used it on my Fantastic fan and looking at it periodically, it still looks like it did from the factory. .
It looks good until it fails and it will and then the real fun with it begins - getting the **** off! I spent two days getting the silicone Scamp
put on my original roof vent off of it and the trailer, along with the lays of it that others had put on it in the years since! Not fun and IMO no good reason for it!
Butyl tape does the same job nicely and will out live any silicone application by years! If and when it fails easy to get off and reapply.
