I am giving my 72 Hunter Compact Jr a makeover...

I will be using it for my mobile business . I hope to maintain part of the vintage elements that I love. Just getting started...painting white interior!

Looks like a fun project. What kind of mobile business will you have in it? There is another person on the site that uses his as a mobile, Olde Tyme photo shop/lab.

Here is a link to some pics of my Hunter that might give you some ideas. There is a second Hunter album also listed to the left. Feel free to browse.

Bob- loved the pics. I plan on putting in a wood floor too...but I've been thinking it will need to be thin material to fit under the cabinets- what type did you use? Thank you!

Thanks,
Traci

The flooring came from my favorite RV supply store, IKEA. But they have discontinued the laminate flooring line so you will have to try locally. I suggest trying to use "Engineered" flooring, it's wood on a substrate and less sensitive to water spills than laminate. COSTCO has some nice flooring as well.

I cut the flooring to fit within 1/4" of the cabinets and then used 1/4 round edging. Works fine and the floor has the expansion spaces it needs.

If you are up around Riverside area send me a note and stop by to see my Hunter if you would like. I am just off the I-215 near March AFB.

Hi Tracy! It looks like the inside of your ceiling is just the raw fiberglass. How is that working for you? Are you worried the arch won't hold it's shape?
Thank you!
