Ideas for mounting Roman Shades in 13' Scamp

Has anyone mounted a board above Scamp windows for Roman Shades? I sewed the shades but we are wondering best way to install wood mounting board? Best, Elizabeth

Perhaps my work will give you some ideas. If using wood with tape then it would have to be well sealed with a smooth surface. See:
Curtain Tracks instead of rods, no holes in shell!

Gordon, Thank you so much for your creative ideas. It's wonderful that you found a way to not make holes in the fiberglass and to have a bendable curve. I wish we could mount the shades to the underside of the cabinet because that would solve our problem but our model doesn't have any cabinets.

I documented two methods.. using the upper cabinets was one. If you have a window with a protruding frame, like the Hehr windows in recent Scamps, then the other method might work with some modification. You can attach something to the top of the window mounting rings (frame) and use it as a mount for the shades. But its impossible for me to see what might or might not work for you without seeing it.
