Immobilizing Reese Scamp hitch

I was posting this question here:
Classic Scamp Failure
but it was somewhat off topic, or nobody tackled the problem.
I was looking for ways to eliminate the play and rattling of the hitch when there is no load on it. It is rather annoying to have the hitch rattle on the rails when driving around without the camper. Here is my simple and cheap solution. It should be noted that the pins need to be bent to become two left hand and two right hand, at least theoretically, so they go in place and work better. The black electrical tape marks two of them. I was bending them a little at a time and tested. It turned out that they are interchangeable. Let the pictures speak for themselves.
