The first is of the water tank inspection plate
The second is of the riser for the port a potty made from 2x5's & 1/4 " plywood, makes it the same height as a home stool
The third is of the storage unit under the sink that we put shelves in, look past the coffee pot

Roger, I bet you've got a basement like mine, full of odds and ends that will come in handy sooner or later. How big is the water tank hole and how did you cut it? Thanks for sharing. Raz

I like that inspection plate. You say you got it from eBay?

This is a 6" deck plate from Amazon, it was cut in with a drill and a rotozip blade.

The Casita Forum has protected forums. One of the benefits of being a member is joining! It's as easy as joining here and although most would think everything has to do with Casitas, we know the trailers are more alike than different... a deck plate is a deck plate is a deck plate.

I encourage your participation there. In fact you'll notice quite a number of people are members here, there and everywhere!

Knowledge is power!

I do all three, Casita forum, Casita Club and this one. All three are great for learning.

west marine sell them
Deck Plate at West Marine, use stainless Machine screw and locking nut to be sure.stainless washers used #10 X 32 stainless pan head machine screws, used 1.25" screw #10 stainless washers and #10 stainless 'nylocks' .one guy said use Butyl tape, some said silicon leaked.this is what I gathered from several inputs about doing a deck plate mod to water tanks--I'll be doing one as well.now that i read what several wrote.
