I hear you Otters. I picked up my '72 Boler
for a decent price, did some necessary low cost repairs and minor upgrades myself but spent $1100 on a new 2000lb axle/tires and rims. Figured if I sold it now I could recoup all money spent and pocket a few hundred. Often though about a total redo on the inside (my own design and labour) but I would never recoup that added cost and the redo would be a personal thing that might limit potential buyers.
I only use the Boler
when I am out gold prospecting in the back country so the actual time spent inside is for sleeping and making morning coffee. Still nice to dream though and drool over the talents of others.
