We added a shelf to the inside of our Casita, made of Ponderosa pine and attached to the metal holders that Casita put in for tv shelves. By ordering two shelves to begin with, it gave us the ready-made places. It's really a handy shelf and has a cut out on the back to accomodate the blinds and curtains.

With the left over end of the pine shelf, we made a small fold down shelf for the galley area of the "Coop". The brackets are from Woodcraft and are 12 " and will hold 130 pounds. I think it will easily hold my crock pot or dish drainer if needed.

Here's another view of the galley shelf.

Pat! Nice pics!

May I ask how you attached your curtain rods? I see they're for cafe curtains. I have something similar for my lace (dragonfly lace) valances, but my hanging method (velcro and string) isn't very durable.

Thanks!

thanks for the compliments, Mary. I think I have the right link below to explain how I did my curtains. I used paper clamps at the top and placed my curtain rod between the upper parts of the clamp and tied it shut. Take a look and see if this is the right place.

Ah, thanks, Pat. I will see if I can try that. I can't put one in the center because my valances don't have an opening there, but maybe I can come up with some other way on that part. Your method looks much more secure than mine. Thanks again.
