It's been 4 long years from concept to completion on my 1976 Surfside. My wife wanted a bathroom so I stretched it 18 inches in the front. That was a bit tricky as I had to pull it off the frame (which was also stretched). All in all we're happy with how it turned out and we are hitting the highway in October headed south.

Hi Ken!

I got your message on the weekend! Thank you a million thank yous for calling!!! I will get back to you; I am back at work and a bit embroiled but I will see if I can book some time with you on the weekend if you are up for it???

Your trailer looks AMAZING. In fact, it kind of takes the wind out of my sails for my own seeing yours. I am so impressed with how nice it all looks and I am very jealous!
If you ever consider selling I am buying!!

More pictures please!!!!

WOW, stretched 18 inches! I'd love to see some before and after exterior pics

Nice from what I can see in the three pictures. I'm sure it's going to be just the ticket for your future travels

Wowser! It may have taken you 4 years, but the finished project looks beautiful. And as others have said, exterior pic's please.

Thanks , Here are some pics of the out side, you can see there has been a few changes. My entrance door was no good when I got the trailer so replaced it with a door with a full screen. My wife hates bugs!

What a great job! Extending the trailer like that is one of more unique modifications I've seen. Looks real classy inside. Have fun on the trip south. (south from Burnaby is big territory!)

Hi There, Thanks for the line , Ya the trailer had only a fresh water tank at the start inside the unit . I put my fresh and gray water now under the trailer and I was in fear of hitting them. Because we do like the outback. Enjoy the summer.

Very nice!

Is the bathroom a pre-molded unit that you installed or did you make all the walls, etc.

This trailer I have now sold to finance my bigfoot project. I found the trailer was not wide enough to get a good sleep 74" inside .The bigfoot is 88"

The bathroom walls were just thin paneling with one layer of 1oz fibreglass mat just enough to make it water tight ,then painted with white gelcoat

That little trailer had everything but space . I do miss it ,it was great for the bush

Thanks again for your kind words
