Nice job Karen....always good to see us girls can do things too! Gina can be a real inspiration to us girls, she has done several trailers and a new "oldie" project to work on. If your in Calif we would love to have you at some of our rallies. Also nice to see someone else who travels with their cats.

Thanks, Rosemary! Someday I'll make it out west (my dad's family is there), but going back to a grad student stipend has put a irritating limit on my travels of late (and makes me glad I paid off the camper before I went back to school).

I haven't updated my blog for a long time (no camping trips to speak of), but if anybody is interested it's Adventures in Scamping. I'm shopping for new tires these days with my tax return and this spring, I'm redecorating the camper on a budget. Just like I raided my dad's power tools for these projects, I'm raiding my mother's sewing machine to make new curtains and such. It's always something new!

The winter here in Nebraska hasn't been anything resembling a winter, and it's not helping my Scamp craving (which doesn't usually show up till April)...

Karen

I thought I'd also post these--this is my kitchen at home--and I'm going to do this with my Scamp cupboards too this summer. (They're over-the-door shoe holders, cut apart.)

(Dang it, I can't get the pics to post here. Here's a link to them.)

Great!

Karen B - I found your PVC shelf pics recently and love them! Lightweight, not permanent!

How have they held up over the last 4 years?

Hi, Sarah--I'm sorry I didn't see this till now! They've held up great and I've even added to it. I cut a hole above the wheel well on the closet (well, Dad did, because he still doesn't trust me with his power tools), so I could more easily access that space--and then I built a larger closet door to cover it. Hands down, this closet shelving is still the best mod I've ever done, the one I'm most proud of. (And I really love my front dinette...)

Happy trails to you!
