Just a simple idea for color and no sewing..

I just wanted to show and idea I had for a simple valance. I just wanted a little pop of color that would go with my beding. I didn't want to sew because sewing makes me cry. This is sort of a short term idea until i get custom drapes to replace the blinds. But i like it so may keep it a while. It probably isn't everyones cup of tea but it certainly warms up the space. I though maybe I could find some nice trim/fringe at hobby lobby to put on the valance part of the blind and they had alot of good lenths of things to choose from. I hope you like it. I do.

Just a dab of hot glue every few inches, since i am planning on taking out the blinds someday. Plus i have a glue that seems to hold but is pretty easy to pick off flat, smooth surfaces. In case i should want to take it down.

That definitely works. Who needs to get complicated when a simple solution will do? Looks fine.

I love it, Shelly! Coordinated with your bedspread, it will make the trailer look so pulled together!

And the color is great! I originally considered red, just couldn't find the right fabric. So I'll vicariously enjoy yours!

Thank you, i love your curtains and fabric choice so much. But i don't think i could make it thru a sewing project with out crying, me and the sewing machine are not best friends.

Very cute and inventive idea. We are not all Betsy Ross. K.I.S.S works for me.

I know it, I have made various things but lately i do try to avoid the sewing machine at all costs. I would rather knit. Or pick the stickers off my camper

Shelly, the idea of having to take worn out stickers off my trailer has stopped me from putting any on it .

...but I don't knit either. gotta find a hobby

What a very good idea! Makes me wonder why I spent so much time sewing curtains...

Thank you guys, they really do have some lovely beaded fringe at hobby lobby too, wouldn't that be pretty when the blinds were open and the sunlight streamed in. I think i spent 9$ a yard which isn't cheap but i would definately wait until a sale next time!!
