Were you at the 2007 Oregon Gathering in Bandon? Did you see the swing-out fold-out table in the Geographic?

Oh, Karen will be thrilled when she hears of your invitation! I myself used to visit Whidbey each summer with my family as a kid, so it is beloved (as an adult the low rainfall compared to Seattle ALSO makes it beloved)!

Consider your invite accepted!! I've spent time on Whidby since I was a kid, as it was on the way to Canada to visit my Grandparents!! I'm really excited re: Burrito's new travels! the Egg NOG is up shortly, then Bandon!!!! Whee!!!! FUN FUN FUN! Karen

Karen,
Did you see the small exterior table that Mike Montville made? If you look at the post "This is our 1975 Boler we restored" and go to photo "117 Old furnace door/new table door 4", you will see a hinged table top that slides in & out on drawer sliders. Very inventive solution and it might work for you.

[quote]I had an idea about my table- I have a space above the microwave with a shelf. It would seem possible to have a table rotate out from that space when needed. I'm not sure what kind of hardware would be needed, though. Rotating out would be easy to figure out, but rotating out and then remaining stable might be more of a trick.

Could it just slide straight out into the aisle on full-extension drawer slides? That wouldn't be hard to do.

Not sure which trailer you're talking about--

The Burro's walls are just bare white fiberglass gel-coat.

In my sister's Compact Jr., the previous owner had glued in what appears to be a wallpaper edge trim strip. It's about ten inches wide, and they seem to have used some kind of contact cement. Since the Compact is not really square (it tapers a bit toward the top), the strip is a bit kinked at the corners.

Above the strip, the walls are painted fiberglass.
